Training: So What’s Next?

My half marathon is over and now comes the hard part. What’s next?

Well, I have the MCM at the end of October that I’m hoping to complete before they kick me off the course. I have tossed around the idea of doing a run/walk, actually training for it, winging it but at the end of the day I decided to follow the Hal Higdon Novice 2 Training Plan. It’s an 18 week plan so that means I have almost two months until I “officially” start. In the meantime….

I want to work on my speed. Maintain my distance but incorporate some speed workouts and a couple 10k or 5k races. So, help me out!

What is your favorite running speed workout?
