Race Pictures: Share Your Tips

20 Apr

I know you should worry more about your running than the pictures that are being taken but lets be honest…I’m not that type. Now, I’m not going to obsess over looking good for a picture (obviously from my last couple) but given the opportunity who wouldn’t love to have a great race picture while grabbing that PR!

Here are some tips that I have found from skimming around the internet:

  • When you see the camera exaggerate your running. Make sure your feet are up in the air so you don’t get caught  “power-walking”
  • Smile as soon as you see the photographer and don’t stop until you pass them
  • Make sure your bib is visible – if it isn’t you risk never finding the perfect photo they took of you

What is your tip for taking great running pictures?
